Level 2 ASP Electrical Services

KCR Electrical holds Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) accreditation — one of the few sole-trader electricians in Western Sydney able to perform network connection work.

What is a Level 2 ASP?

A Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) is an electrician accredited by Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, or Essential Energy to perform work on the electrical network — the infrastructure between the street and your meter. This includes overhead and underground service lines, metering installations, and new connection work.

Most electricians are only licensed to work on the customer side of the meter. A Level 2 ASP can work on both sides, making them essential for certain types of connection, disconnection, and upgrade work.

When do you need a Level 2 ASP?

  • New power connection to a property (house, shed, granny flat)
  • Overhead or underground service upgrades
  • Solar system grid connection requiring network work
  • Metering work (new meters, upgrades, smart meters)
  • Temporary supply connections for building sites
  • Disconnection and reconnection of supply
  • Subdivision and sub-metering work
  • EV charger installations requiring network-side work

Why this matters for you

Engaging a Level 2 ASP directly means your project doesn't require a separate subcontractor for network connection work. KCR Electrical can manage the full scope — from switchboard to street — saving time and coordination overhead.

We work across the Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy network areas, which covers Glenmore Park, Penrith, the Blue Mountains, and Greater Western Sydney.

Accreditation details

KCR Electrical's Level 2 ASP accreditation is issued and maintained under NSW regulations. All Level 2 work is performed to Ausgrid/Endeavour Energy/Essential Energy specifications and standards.
